Hall of Fame Inductee Nomination

Each year, this being the second, ASID FSC recognizes those professionals who have played crucial roles in the development of our industry by inducting them into the ASID FSC Hall of Fame. The finest members of our chapter are recognized by the Hall of Fame. As a voting member of ASID FSC, you have the power to nominate someone you believe has made a key difference in our industry.

Eligibility and Basic Criteria

Hall of Fame nominees should be living individuals who have contributed dramatically to the growth and professionalism of the interior design industry or ASID FSC. Hall of Fame nominees need to be past or present ASID members to qualify for consideration.

Evaluation Guidelines

• In order to be considered for recommendation, nomination forms must be completed in their entirety; incomplete forms will be disqualified.
• Pre-written or duplicated forms drafted or completed by someone other than the individual signing and submitting the nomination is not permissible and will be disqualified.
• Each selection is based on the merit of the nominee, not by the number of nominations.
• Nomination entries submitted by groups (committee, community) will be considered as one nomination.
• Only nominations made by ASID voting members will be considered; nominations from any members of a nominee’s immediate family will not be accepted.
• The Hall of Fame Committee will review and complete an evaluation form for each candidate.

Judging

During the first week of September, the nomination forms received are photocopied and sent to the Hall of Fame Committee. These individuals review all nominations made.

The committee is not required to recommend any nominees and may recommend up to three candidates.

Deadline

Nominations must be received by the ASID FSC on or before August 31, 2010. Forms received after that date will not be considered.

Appreciation

Inductees will be recognized in our quarterly ASID FSC Professional Design magazine and at this year’s “Keys to Success” Annual Chapter Celebration at Hawks Cay Resort in Duck Key, Florida on September 24 – 26, 2010.
